My divorce in 2012 cost me everything. I am basically homeless & if I can at least get a job with medical benefits maybe I just might feel some hope.
If any of you great SI'ers live in east coast from NJ down to FL & hear of an entry level office/clerical job...would you please PM me.
If I am not allowed to request this hear then I apologize to everyone in advance & ask that Mods remove this thread.
Just at my wits end and willing to move anywhere on east coast to try & salvage some sense of dignity that my exSAWH took from me
Me: Divorced 2012
I know that when I truly love & honor myself I am at my best & most complete; and I will never settle for anything less from myself or from anyone else ever again!

So sorry, jersey girl
I don't know of anything specific, but if you have access to the internet you might look at the job listings for every college and university in the area you are considering. They are good jobs -- often they are state or local government employees, with decent benefits. If you have some experience you may have a good chance. It's hard to get people to stick with office jobs in these places, as they often are working on finishing their education and then leave.
You will likely need some references -- so think about who might be able to be a good ref for you. A former boss is good, if that's possible.
Do you have access to a women's shelter? They may also help you with job searching and jobs programs, and with resumes and and the like.
