Who has an outstanding one that works fast on fine hair?

I have a Chi that I really like. I have fine hair, but a lot of it. I wanted something lightweight as I tend to do a slow dry and this fit the bill. It was a little bit spendy. When I'm lazy and just blast my head, it is pretty quick.

Consumer reports rated a couple of Chi models high along with one Revlon model. Only differences were noise and price. I bought the Revlon model at Target for less than $21 on sale. At that rate I can afford to replace it 3 or 4 times for what the Chi costs. And it is definitely quieter than my old one, with more setting options and very light weight. CHI makes a travel version, smaller and lightweight, alot less expensive than of their bulkier models that can run from $130 to $170!
I think price is somewhere around $50ish.

I have the travel version of the baby bliss one. It is very compact but dries my hair really fast and I have a lot of hair. I can't remember what I paid for it because I bought it about 5 years ago but it wasn't expensive.

I have a John Frieda blow dryer, I got it at ULTA and I love it! I don't have fine hair, I have really thick hair and it blow drys it fast and leaves my hair full of volume and feeling really silky. I was really impressed when I used it the first time! Hope you find a good one!

You know, I started to buy my hair dryers and flat iron from folica.com - they are affordable and have amazing reviews, both written and video. I used to use a Chi and ended up going with a Solia brand dryer and flat iron. What I love about the dryer is that it gives me 2 speed options and 3 heat options plus a cold shot. It's honestly the best blow dryer I've ever had.

I have a Rusk Speed Freak 2000 Watts I love it. I have hair that loves to hold onto water and this one does a good job fairly quick for me.

The more expensive hair dryers are quieter. I recommend the Solano brand (http://www.solanopower.com). You can buy them at Ulta, but they are pricier than your cheaper Revlon or any brand sold at Target. I have a super solano red/black. It's 10 years old, still going strong, and Solano will repair them and clean dust out of the housing etc.
There's a new line of dryers from Harry Josh (http://www.harryjosh.com/shop.html). I bought one b/c while I love my Super Solano, it's heavy. The Harry Josh is super light and is just an awesome hair dryer too.
So now I have two hair dryers lol.
