Tonight - a bottle of wine and a couple of movies...or maybe a couple of bottles of wine and a movie

Tomorrow - practicing mindfulness, searching for inner peace, and reminding myself of that 'other side' I am so goddamned close to.

Sunday - Catching up on all the shit I've neglected while on my trip to crazy town.

How 'bout you?

Last night-- dinner and a movie with one of my best GFs. We went for drinks afterwards and laughed our heads off. Great night.

Today-- off to volunteer soon and then a whole Saturday with no concrete plans. I love it. I'll probably do a little shopping and then some yard work.

Sunday-- grocery shopping and then my kiddos return.

Hope you're all having a great weekend!

Friday- Last day of school!! Whoop! Mom is here for a few weeks, so we met some of my friends at my neighborhood place to hear a band, sit on the patio and enjoy the awesome evening! It was just what I needed after the days graduation fiasco.

Saturday- mani/pedis today, then shopping. Going to dinner with other friends tonight.

Sunday- dog sitting for one of my best friends so the kids and I will hang at her house to swim in her pool. (Mom is meeting up with some friends of hers for the day). Looking forward to a few lazy days to recover from the school year!

I had to drop my car off at the garage yesterday...

Borrowing my FMIL's car for the weekend, and until my car is ready.

We were thinking about going to the dragstrip today. Maybe on a road trip to Sonic, as well. (we live in a Sonic deprived part of the country).

Sunday--laundry and dinner with my parents.

Tonight my sister is having a patio party and Firehouse Guy is coming over. This will be interesting to see how he likes to interact with me when we are out socially, and also with my friends.

Tomorrow, sposed to be hot. I'm thinking bike ride in the morning, and then hosing down the dog in the afternoon.

Last night, unexpected break from DDs for a few hours so I did what I do best, some shopping for our upcoming vacation.

Today, taking DD16 to SATs, then running errands, picking up DD11, more shopping and running errands with them, drop off with exh. Now, a beer, chili and finishing up work projects so I can go on vacation without stressing over stuff.

Tomorrow, kid-free day, church then couch catching up on seasons 2 and 3 of the Good Wife and more work projects. Maybe a glass of wine with BFF at the Yacht Club.

Countdown is on - 7 days to take off for Germany, Spain and Czechoslovakia

Temporarily independent with the whole world at my feet.
