So I just found out H has a secondary FB account and had been googling an app called Tinder. I decided to use that 2nd FB info and log onto Tinder and low and behold he has an acct.

A lot of people are telling me I shouldn't be worried that people just make accts and do nothing with them So far I see no activity on the acct but still.

Anyone else familiar with this app?

Tinder is huge in Australia. From what I have heard it sounds like a place where Gen Ys trawl for NSA sex. It's about hooking up - not finding relationships. A GF of mines flatmate is a mid 40s WW/MOW who is currently single and she raves about Tinder. I told her it sounds like a sleazy bar full of sleazy people and she gleefully verified that is exactly what it is.

It's a dating site that helps you meet people in proximity - it shows you how far away from you each person is and you swipe left/right as to whether or not you'd like to connect with that person. If they Yes you too then you get a notification and you chat via msg system and pics and decide if you want to meet IRL.

This is also a way of hooking up without numbers showing up on a phone bill.

I am sorry. I am so out of these days. I make a horrible Wayward or Affair Partner. I don't know all these tools and trades but I know one thing...this world just gets sadder and sadder with all these devices/apps that free people from ACCOUNTABILITY.
