WS seems defeated by her

Specifically in what way defeated?

In the beginning I found it impossible to make any determination about whether I wanted to be married, and I stayed only for the kids. I just decided to give it a year and check in with myself every month and as long as the progress was upward overall, I would stay. It was very much treading water, but it gave me just enough structure to keep it together.

Honestly, I am approaching 2 years post Dday, and am just now feeling sure I want to be married to WS. R is a slow process.

Having a bunny boiler AP is something I never dealt with, and having her constantly inserting herself into your life sounds awful. Hopefully with enough crickets she will move on.

Taking it one day at a time.

All of the comments are hitting it right on the head. Like uhtred and see the light-

"So here we are with two young kids, I'm trying my best to R with her but can't shake the feeling that I just don't want to be married to her or anyone else ever again."

I know that I decided to R in the first place for the kids, I have decided that this is not the reason I will stay, but it does play a large role.

I have decided to once again focus on what I need and not what will make the situation comfortable. Thank you for posting the initial thread-I know it's hard to come here and post, but I have found through my ups and downs-there is always someone here that can relate and will help you.
