Hey guys guess what!? I like compliments but I don't need them. Im capable of knowing I look nice and not feeling like I need to constantly hear it. When I ask if something looks nice its not fishing or for ego k ibbles its because im unsure of it in the moment. When people compliment me I can accept it and not focus on it. Wanna know why? Because im learning to love me. Im learning that im ok in my skin. This post is to share that as a wayward we can get here. I am still learning and growing but for all this struggling today from one struggling wayward to another...we can do this.

Love this post!
I decided that if I'm unsure about an outfit/item of clothing then I'll be very specific about what I ask. In the past, I would have said 'does this look ok?' Which would have inevitably lead to the compliment I was searching for. My more recent questions have been 'does this top go with these trousers?' Or (while wearing two different shoes) 'which shoes look better with this outfit?' I'm proud of that boundary I've created to stop me going on the hunt for ego kibbles.
If I think I look nice then that's all that matters!
