Sad, I miss card catalogs too! It was just kinda neat to do that. Now it's all on the computer.

I also still have a landline as I also hate using the cell phone unless I'm not home.

I also still use wax paper to wrap my lunch sandwiches (and other things) because we always had it growing up.

I know many of these things aren't really old school, but I work with a couple of 'kids' (they are 28!) and make me feel old when I mention stuff sometimes. LOL!

As for maps - I'm in between. I don't use the GPS on my cell, but I also don't use an atlas or map; I like mapquest best. Still. LOL!

An Atlas! The large ones. I had a GPS and hated that woman talking all the time, she was annoying and such a know it all.

I buy the biggest and best Atlas every year and it's amazing some of the interesting places I've found/seen on road trips.

1.Paper bills coming in the mail and not my email inbox that could crash. I want a hard copy to file and write "Paid" on

3.Yes - BOOKS - a real book in my hand for the feel, the smell and the safety in knowing that if I take 2 years to read it, an update or something will wipe it away and won't find out the ending. Probably would NEVER happen on a Kindle or Nook but I feel better knowing I have the WHOLE book.

I still write checks for all my bills, and (gasp) mail them. I have several friends who work for the postal service. They are very concerned about loosing their jobs. So, I figure if I can help in some small way...

I still use the "paint" white out. I buy my own, though.

I miss negatives. I admit to never deleting pictures once they are printed. What happens if my computer crashes and I can't find the flash drive that I saved the picture to??

slight t/j - I think I'm the only person left who doesn't have a Facebook account. I do have a Twitter account, but don't post.

Another t/j - I teach 3rd grade. Kids can't dial a regular phone anymore. At times, someone will need to call home for something. There are always a few who don't know they have to pick up the handset before they dial. They enter the phone number and then look at me. None of them dial fast enough and then system kicks over to the beeping noise. They have no idea what that means.

The Richard Caruso Molecular Haircurler from the 90's. How do you think I get this glorious wavy hair? Seriously, whenever I break one, I have to go on Ebay to find a replacement. I have not been able to find a set of hot rollers that works as good.

I also still have a VCR hooked up in my bedroom and use it consistently. It's the same one that my then boyfriend bought me for my 19th or 20th birthday.

Until a few years ago, we still had the Atari hooked up in my parents basement. It still worked, and we still played it.

I'm another fan of actual books. I have a kindle but I have no clue where the charger is.
