Divorce/Separation :
Math is hard for OW Barbie...

Had my semi annual state of the kid lunch with X last week.

We are pretty civil so this isn't a big deal. I always get a chuckle because of some of the great OW tidbits that come up this year's gems included:

1. She thinks that I would like her if I only like mountain biking. This stems from a conversation I once had with her, during which I explained we would never be friends and I thought that she was a bad person. OW -- mountain climb, I don't mountain bike but that's not why I don't like you

2. X is not allowed to speak to any women and must hand over his phone nightly to be reviewed by OW. They are having a tough time in their realtionship with trust apparently

3. Moving to a new city will solve all their problems

Let me explain these equations OW:

Sleeping with a married man = being a bad person (me taking up mtn biking =/= you and i getting along)

Sleeping with a married man = no trust in your relationship

Sleeping with a married man = new city, new options for him

These concepts are so hard for OW barbie. I kind feel sorry for her.

But that's just a lot of water
Underneath a bridge I burned
And there's no use in backtracking
Around corners I have turned

I don't know how much of this I would believe out of his mouth. I've read enough on here they tell the OW all kinds of bad things about the BS so I would assume he would lie now too.

Oh no, I'm sure this is true. There is first hand evidence as she called during lunch. twice.

we are so far out now that the its been a common theme. I also hear it from mutual friends. I just get a chuckle every time that she is surprised they have trust issues and that I don't like her. Are you kidding me? that's the level of stupid i expect from 14yr olds.

This is just more of a friendly post for those not so far along. Yep, Karma is a bitch.

You should write a book. "Math for the Other Woman." It would probably have to be a "For Dummies" version to sell many copies..

Oh, the good ones we could put in there..

Sleeping with a married man = Drama, you stupid bitch.. Keep searching his phone. Too bad you're too stupid to find it. You already KNOW he's a sneaky fucker!

How do you keep a straight face when he tells you this stuff. I mean seriously? I would be hard pressed not to say something completely rude and inappropriate (...ly funny....)......

oh sometimes i can't resist a brief snark or an eye roll. i don't even really try.

its weird....I think the only honest relationship he has with a woman is with me, his ex wife. he has to take my snarky, no nonsense remarks to his tales of his sorry life if he wants me to continue to be in the same room with him. I'm the one person who can walk out of the room and never talk to him again and not care.

OW Barbie...so sad, too bad, you should've learned relationship math a lot earlier in life

sleeping with a married man =/= happy life.

May they both live for a long time and have a lifelong relationship lol. Why anyone would stay in a relationship with someone you can't trust is beyond me. They are both getting what they deserve.

I think...therefore, I'm single.

It is what it is.

Hi Hexed,

I love that he has to hand over his phone every night.

That wouldn't have worked with my EX. His phone was loaded with tons of software that hid all this "activities."

I don't miss those days of living in constant fear that my EX was cheating on me and lying to me. It's a terrible way to live. Too bad that now OW Barbie has to live that way . . . I guess my grandmother was right: What goes around comes around.

I should have titled this "what happens when your X stays with their AP"

I always think its funny when my X sounds indignant when OW barbie gets jealous and mistrusting.

I am going to have to put your state of the kid meetings on my calendar. I think these are funny too!!

I also have inadvertent eye rolls. Must be a side effect of talking to exes?

Won't it be a shame when he cheats on her? Poor Barbie.

No trust = no respect

No respect = contempt

Contempt = abuse

Welcome to reality where math rules!

My XWW has rules now, or so I've heard from a long time mutual friend. She can't go out with my friend after work or to any social function unless POS is with her. She cannot even visit my friend at her home even though my friend is divorced and single. Nope, if my friend wants to visit XWW, she must go to her home. XWW has also turned down several invites to dinner parties and other social events because she told my friend that he will talk about embarrassing stuff or otherwise embarrass XWW. My friend is about to cut her off as a friend. If she does, this will be the third long term friendship, including me, that she has destroyed with her A. The two friends in question are/were two of her closest friends throughout her life. Keep digging XWW, keep digging, the bottom has to be down there somewhere!

These unremorseful waywards don't need karma, they create it themselves.

BTW, my XWW was never good at math. She has two dogs, I told her once, when she first got them, to "make sure you get your three dogs trained." She just looked at me with a confused look and said "Oh I will, but I only have two." I almost busted up laughing. Looks like she took my advise after all!
