Some nonsensical ramblings from a lunatic mind:

I need to send a very public shout out and huge thank you to MustSurvive, she was the only one who came through with the much needed supply of carbonated, sugared prune juice and, thus, got Crack hours before anyone else.

I only obsessed about the red beans for 23 straight hours after I realized I fergot the correct pot. (Doesn't EVERYBODY have a pot the use ONLY for their red beans? )

DS, at the risk of banishment I must politely point out that the only muffaletta olive salad I will ever use is shipped straight from Central Grocery.

(Moo, don't worry- I gained enough weight fer the both of us. )

WB, don't ferget YOU are the one who abandoned the Avocadoheads so don't even try to pull the "woe is me" card.

TG, all the effort and time was spent by Jrazz. I failed in my quest because I think of it only as the holy trinity rather than it's component parts.

eta: If I was not quick enough to properly hide when someone was taking pictures, you have my blanket permission to post any you might have taken of me.

I would be a major doodoohead if I didn't thank everybody who made this possible so"

Thank you DS and MH for giving us this site and for keeping it running. You both are the reason I was able to meet so many great people this weekend and we all were able to have a little fun.

Thank you Jrazz for the guidance (and foot up my backside when needed to prod things along) for your organizing skills and valuable insight on how to pull off a G2G.(and everyone would still be looking for proper accomodations... ) This all would have never happened if you had not done most of the leg work.

Thank you Empress for giving us all a reason to get together.

Thank you Jrazz and Rebreather for doing all the work on daytime activities which allowed me to hide in my room and obsess over the red beans.

Thank you again MustSurvive for being the ONLY one who pays attention to the small print.

Thank you MJ and TG for driving all the way up to Tahoe. That was above and beyond.

A big thank you to everyone who came up, the house felt like a home with so many cool people enjoying each other's company.

jpapa...

You are most welcome! I'm beyond thrilled that you've made so many wonderful, life long friends from here

Razzy...we can't eat there, its our local butcher...we get all our boudain from there and it's unbelievably delicious! And any specialty sausages and cured meats. We'll go there and you can pick out whatever you want and MH will cook it for you

Great pics. Thanks for sharing to let me know what I missed. But my trials and trevails have not ended yet, so I guess it's a good thing I missed it *this time*. I DO plan to make a Cali G2G - AND get some crack! (Does not necessarily need to be the same one, but getting both would be great, too!)
