Imagine a ship trying to set sail while towing an anchor. Cutting free is not a gift to the anchor. You must release that burden, not because the anchor is worthy, but because the ship is.

Damn! Y-all caught me drinking again. Or still. Never sure which it is. Unpretentious Pinot Grigeo, while waiting for a contractor to come by to measure up a new kitchen counter for us. He's late, and I need to take a shower Real Bad, because of this lovely lady:
Had to move the 1904 Edwardian steamship "Medea" to the Yacht Club for their opening day ceremonies. Other than the crew and captain, we had her all to ourselves, which made for a lovely morning steaming. Worked the stern and ran the stern crew. Thank goodness one person was pretty checked out, but had a completely new crewman who had to be coached through everything. All went well, however.
Bad news is San Salvador (ship one page back) was supposed to launch this Sunday, however it's been postponed due to a weight issue. Not mine, thank you very much! The house company we hired to "weigh" her, screwed up and she is too heavy for the launch we had planned. So it's pushed back until we can get that figured out. Bugger! But boy, do I need a shower! So I can use my new shower curtain.

FBW then 46, XWHNPDPAFTG the destroyer of my entire life. D-Day 1 '99, D-Day 2,3,4,5,6... '09-'11, D '15. I fell apart. I put myself back together. Forgiveness isn't required. I'm happy and healthy now, and MY new life is good.
