Does anyone know of any software that will extract deleted data from an old blackberry?

I have tried a few programs to try to recover data from the backup files, but have had no luck.

I used Blackberry backup extractor, but it did not function as advertised.

I have seen other sites offer forensic data extraction from blackberry phones for a higher price $500+ , but I have not tried those as of yet.

Please post an update if you have any luck recovering data.

Thanks

Yes, please post if you find anything. I recently came across WH's old Blackberry from about 2012. There's very little on there, and I'm wondering if anything was deleted.

Bumping this. I have the same question also.

Not too much available for getting deleted things but Elcomsoft showed more than other retrieval software. You can see a lot with the free download (emails, etc.)

You could also take out the SD card and run software recovery like Recuva on that to see if you get any deleted photos.

I Googled "BlackBerry Text Retrieval" and below are the 6 software options that I was able to locate BUT I have not personally tried any of the 6 on any of my BlackBerry devices since I have never needed to “retrieve” any of my personal deleted texts etc. So, I'm not able to tell anyone which of the 6 options may work the best at doing what they are advertised to do.

So, if anyone would prefer for me to check them out (before using it on your FWS actual phone) I’d be happy to do that. Please feel free to PM me which specific software of the 6 options below that you would like for me to test out and I’d be happy to do that. Also, please include specifically which BlackBerry phone your FWS has so that I test out the correct OS with the most compatible of the 6 software options.

The 3 BlackBerry phones that I personally own and that are all activated on the Verizon network include: The "BlackBerry Classic Q20" which runs on the BlackBerry OS, The "BlackBerry Priv" which runs on the Android OS and I also have the newest BlackBerry phone which is The "BlackBerry KEYone" which also runs on the Android OS.
