I've been on bupropion for about 6(?) years now. Started with at 150mg twice a day for smoking cessation. It controlled my mood also, for the better, so we decided I should stay on it. Probably wouldn't be in this nightmare i created if I'd started sooner. Don't believe I want to stop taking it. Upped it to 200mg twice daily for mood helps.

Good luck to you and hope it helps you

my PCP put me on Wellbutrin about a week or so after Day. I had been on Celexa for years, but after dday, I setup an appt w my PCP, got an STD test and told him the whole story and told him I was having panic attacks and anxiety attacks and was thinking of suicidal ideations.

a couple weeks on Wellburtrin...honestly made me worse.

I was closer to suicide then ever when I was on that stuff.

stopped Wellbutrin and started Gabapetin...which made me not suicidal, but paranoid.

stopped that, and switched from celexa to prozac back in Apr 2015

since May 2017 I have managed to drop from 40mg prozac to 10mg prozac! my goal is to get off of the SSRI entirely

It's alright now.
In fact, it's a gas.

I'm on 300 mg per day. 150 2x/day In addition, I take .25 mg klonopin 2x/day. I cannot take SSRIs due to a health condition and wellbutrin makes me a little more anxious than I already am. (I really already have an issue with it.)

I never could tolerate the side effects nor could 3 others I know.

Glad it helps others though.

I have been on it for 5 yrs. Started out at 150mg twice a day, but made me so I couldn't sleep, so have just been taking one in the morning.

It definitely has curbed my appetite, I have lost 53lbs. Of course that goes along with all the crap in my life the last 5yrs.

I think I lost about 10 pounds when I first started Wellbutrin. It's not that I stopped eating, I just ate less and I wasn't eating emotionally.
