I'm glad to hear you're getting support from people at work. Perhaps add your family to that list as well if you can. It's all super helpful in dealing with this nonsense.

I wouldn't spend much time trying to get to the bottom of the when/who/where/why, etc. None of it matters. Your W (like mine was) is a serial cheater and that's really all you need to know.

I hope you move on as quickly as possible and find someone worthy of you.
