Dena, I'm right there with you. I had a different perspective in my younger years then grew in the faith while M. I don't want a man who thinks it's okay to hook up. I was M to that! No thanks.

I agree that your dating pool will be tiny. Particularly since you are insisting on waiting until marriage instead of just a go slow approach. Plenty of churchgoing, believing men will not want to take this approach.

From a male perspective it would be difficult at this juncture of my life. Plenty of men will believe that your beliefs indicate a lack of sexual interest in them specifically, and you'd happily bend your rules for a different partner.

By the same token, you also run the risk of attracting men whose sexual interest AFTER marriage will also be low to nonexistent. You would need to be careful.

If this is important to you, I would suggest a short courtship period to improve your odds. At this point, this and religious belief will have to be your number one criteria in finding a spouse. Chemistry, etc. is something you will likely need to try and develop. I do wish you well.
