Can anyone give me some book recommendations for healing? I pretty much plan to stay single forever lol, but on the off chance someone does change my mind, I'd like to be healed.

The Journey from Abandonment to Healing
And Co-D books from Melanie Beattie just to help detach and focus on you. I like the daily books that she has, "The Language of Letting Go" ones.

I see in your profile that your previous H was an abuser. Have you read, "Why Does He Do That" by Lundy Bancroft? It is probably the book that did the most for me in relation to what xpos did to me during our M. I can definitely recognize the behavior enough in people now to be onto it in others, male and female.
I have read many books on that and other related topics, but having nothing else to go on, that is my best suggestion for now. I know what xpos did was enough to turn me off to the idea of another R!

The Lundy Bancroft one is a good one. I remember reading it and it was easy to read and helped. I also read Co-parenting with a Toxic Ex and that helped a lot since I have kids.

I like Living and Loving after betrayal by Steven Stosny. I've listened to it twice now and I think it's a really good book. He has activities to do and good advice.
