He sounds like a big baby. My STBX used my visits to my parents against me. Guess what they don't get to dictate when you get to see your family. Fuck that shit. I'm glad you told him to leave the keys on the table. What a bully he is.
You will feel so much better when you are away from him. I cannot tell you how peaceful it is to live your life on your terms.
He sounds abusive and like an asshole. Keep moving forward with your plans. I was always stuck (before I left) when my STBX would say stupid shit. Because you just cannot believe someone who is supposed to love and honor you talk to you that way.
