So, it's Sunday afternoon and I should be doing "stuff" around the house. Instead,....my eye caught sight of the bottle of red I bought yesterday. I poured a nice glass of 14 Hands, Hot to Trot.

So,.... Whats in your cup?

A whole bunch of sass. Not sure why - maybe the change in daylight has me off my feed a little.

I should be doing stuff too, but instead I'll raise my cup backatcha this afternoon. This one just has plain old water in it...

(14 hands huh? Oh my.)

Lots of sparkling water, my favorite. Ha! I know. Boring. Me and my sparkling water usually partner up.

Wait! You must be a Michigander!

(That's what your tagline says, anyway....)

My doc has me afraid not to drink ar least 48 oz of water every day. Tap water from Lake Michigan is in my water bottle. I drink 2 mugs of coffee before noon, too.

I've gotten to actually like the water.

Tequila and grapefruit juice. I used to drink Palomas until one day I didn't have a lime, and I discovered that if I skipped it and left out the simple syrup, I liked the result just as much. It's really getting to be out of place now that it's November, though. I'm shifting to winter whiskey cocktails soon.

Made myself a caramel latte this afternoon, but it's most often just filtered tap water for me. Water (far and away), then milk, then tea/coffee in that order. On occasion some wine or a toddy. Almost never soda or other beverages. A little wine to toast those absent as I said in TrustedHer's thread in OT

Inconnu, that aged eggnog sounds awesome! (That would qualify as one of those "toddies" I mentioned.

First, black coffee, then water water and um, yeah, more water.

Cocktail hour(S) depends on the mood and season. Right now, ‘‘tis the season for egg nog with the captain. For Christmas, I will make slush which is orange juice, lemonade, tea and whiskey. 7 up is optional.

For the past couple of days it has been only a little coffee or milk, but far and away water! That comes after a get together where I put away the most wine in a few hours in my life. I usually have no more than 2 small glasses, but that day.... well, I have no idea what happened, but it was the first time I felt unsteady enough that others helped me navigate and went straight to bed for around 11 hours!

So, for now, it's those 3 "safe" things to keep me from repeating that!
