For the past 19 years, I have been grieving the loss of my DH and marriage. Nineteen LONG years of pure suffering. However, 7 months ago, I met a truly wonderful man. He has made it his goal to undue every mean thing DH did to me and it feels so great. I can't believe I'm in love again. I really did think it was hopeless. I guess my point is that everyone here should just hold on....because not all storms come to disrupt your life, some come to clear the path. Good luck and healing to all.

(((Sennah)))

Your story is so inspirational, and in some ways reminds me of mine. My first husband cheated, and my second husband actually broke my heart twice in this lifetime. I actually met second husband before first, and had two years with second husband in the early '90s - he then left me for someone else, who he married and was with for nearly 30 years before SHE left HIM for someone else.

After our respective divorces we reconnected and married. He cheated and left me after six years.

I have so much regret about wasting most of my adult life on these two, but I'm getting ready to relocate out of my home state and buy a house all on my own, so I'm hopeful that my path to joy will open up sooner than later.

If you don't mind the nosiness, how did you meet the wonderful man you're now with?
