Is the dot net site only for Platinum users, forever or is it the Beta that is only for Platinum users? Why the switch at all? Will the dot com site eventually be closing?

MangledHeart posted 6/1/2020 17:49 PM

There are no changes intended for the .com site. It will always remain free. The .net website is a project that I have been working on during the pandemic that is still in development. I was offering access to platinum members as a veiled attempt to recruit beta testers. grin Eventually I would like to release it to everyone that chooses to use it.

Other than the obvious, current users, format similar to Simplicity, what other changes should we look at?

Oh, and why can't I see the current users each time I log on?

Nothing in particular. If you find yourself going back to the .com version rather than using .net then I would imagine it is either due to your familiarity with the .com version or I have a lot more work to do. laugh I often switch back to the .com version because some of the features I use are not yet implemented on .net.

You don't see the list at the bottom of your profile?

Oh. I was looking in the wrong place. Plus, my devices are not saving my login.
I have nothing but enormous respect and admiration for this project. I'm trying to use Wordpress to update a website for my religious community and it's making me want to curse profusely.
Thanks for your work.
