I have a long flight and a long layover. Tell me - best airline books (by that I mean fun, exciting, engrossing, etc). Something I can put on my iPad (via Kindle or BN) even better!!

The movie Airport was based on a book originally.

I read alot of change management, corporate, and leadership books.
For fun and when I escape, I read People, US, Weekly, etc. All the trash mags.

I'll shamelessly admit that I really enjoy reading the Stephanie Plum mysteries by Janet Evanovich while traveling. They are interesting, engaging, funny, etc.
A woman once passed me on her way to the airplane lavatory (I had an aisle seat) when I was reading one, and I was laughing out loud. On her way back from the lav, she asked what I was reading. When she saw what it was, she said, "Oh, of course! Those books make me laugh out loud too!"

One I read when we were in Lake Placid was "The Birth House" by Ami McKay.
Read it from cover to cover sitting on a screened in porch in the mountains with several cups of tea. Fabulous book and a fabulous memory
