I'm looking at getting a set of adjustable dumbells, 25 lbs maximum.
Anyone have a set? Bowflex is of course twice the price. Both brands have plastic bits that will eventually give out.
I'm leaning towards the cheaper version.

I dont have either, but if they are basically the same and both have plastic bits that wear out, Id get the cheaper.

Well one can only try FofF...
Get plenty of lower body with the bike and walking, definitely need to get a handle on the arm flab now.
I love the way it feels after a good workout.
Yoga is great for it as well, but free weights are terrific, especially for me as I'm a borderline osteoporosis person.
After seeing what it's done to my mom, I need to get on it!

There's also an adjustable set called Powerblock.
I haven't tried them, but price wise they are about 25% below Bowflex.
If I had the money, I'd probably go with Bowflex, but I don't, so I'm looking to get a set of Powerblock.

I saw those as well. I'll have to spend some time checking them all out on a rainy day.
It's been too nice out to go shopping.
Wish I had the space for the Bowflex monster machine thingie. That looks pretty awesome.

Wouldn't hurt to look into local garage sales, craigslist (has a search function - I typed in bowflex and got a bunch for sale).
Ex-exercise equipment,
stbx exercise equipment! is easy to find...
jj,
who knows NOTHING about that.
