Even if it did pour cats and dogs outside.

Today my BH had a day off for the first time in forever. We got to snuggle all morning. This afternoon, the kids had a party to go to. So Hubs and I had a late lunch and Gigi's cupcakes.

It was an informal, kind of early anniverary thing. The real date isn't till next week. (However, he is working ungodly hours then and we may not have time together. )

He gave me an unexpected card. Just to say "I love you". And I'll cherish it and hold onto it for the low times that are sure to come. For now, we are happy, calm, communicating, and loving our time together.
