I just read 11-23-60 by SKing. Also read the Outlander series and The Time Travellers Wife. One about the middle ages and the plague that I can't remember the title to.
Any other's out there that you thought were great? I fantasize about going back in time to different eras. More interesting than going forward to the future for me. Open to suggestions.

I just finished Timeline and liked it, but there is a lot of science in it-specifically quantum physics.I do not normally like that. but he made it interesting as part of the story.

If you can remember the title to the book you mentioned about the middle ages and the plague, please post it. I would LOVE to read it.
I too have read the Outlander series and The Time Travellers Wife. I loved both!

There's a relatively new series (2 out of 3 parts have been published) called The All Souls' Trilogy. It's about witches, vampires, etc. (but not targeted at teens). The second book in the series, Shadow of Night, deals with time travel. The first book was A Discovery of Witches.

Try "Lightning" by Dean Koontz. One of my favorite books ever.

I read one a few months ago... If I can recall the name I'll come back and post it.
It wasn't really "Time Travel" as much as a man who can remember every lifetime he's ever lived since the beginning of his soul's creation... and he spends all his time trying to find a girl who he's fallen in love with thousands of years before...
The premise is that everyone keeps living life over and over but most people don't remember their former lives... but a few people do remember.
It was a good book... but damn if I can recall the title.

I loved Replay by Grimwoid.
It is more about re-living your same life and what happens with various decisions you make.
It was written in the late 80's.

I think my all-time favorite time travel book is Time and Again by Jack Finney. It was published in 1970 and became a cult favorite. There was a sequel in 1995 called From Time to Time.
Look these up and read them. You won't regret it.

I love this book! There was just something about it . . . Now I'm thinking about re-reading again - but sadly not available on Kindle

So weird, Time Traveler's Wife is on right now on tv.
Not as good as the book, but it does scratch an itch. The Outlander books drive me nuts (way too long, etc) but I can't wait until the next one comes out.
13 years later...finally healed. Definitely survived and thrived and you can, too.

jrc, when I read your description of My Name Is Memory, I was like this 
Why? Because years ago I started writing a story *with just that premise*. Now, I think I'm gonna have to look for it for either Kindle or Nook (my tablet has apps for both).
