Since my sister's former boss who swore to her he was going to call me and practically give me a job on a platter hasn't called...
I've applied for the same type of position at my sister's company, and she made sure to mention me to her new boss (the one who took over for former boss). Sister's new boss says she'll mention me to bigger boss at her weekly meeting with him (either Thurs or Fri). My sister had mentioned me to him last fall, and he seemed interested, but then they were told not to hire until the new year so I didn't even get the chance to interview.
Please, please, please send all the positive thoughts and mojo you can spare that they will at least call me for an interview. I really, really want this job. Thanks y'all.
