No wonder I have a headache...
I usually only drink coffee at my desk, in the morning at school.
I almost never have it at home...
School ended on Wednesday... I had to work Thursday... I've been off since Friday...
I wonder if I can break my caffeine addiction?

Sure, I've quit 5 times. Eventually, I might quit again.
The headache is killer.

Oy. Cold turkey is a killer way to get off caffeine.

I've quit numerous times and then started up again.
The headaches are killer. Also beware some headache/ migraine OTC pills have caffeine in them.
I'm sending you strength.

When I quit caffeine I did it cold turkey and didn't take anything for the headaches. Now, if I have anything with caffeine I get headaches.

My H gave it up cold turkey for Lent, and he said it took about a week for the headaches to stop. Once those were over, he said he felt really good.

I hope it goes for me like you're H... I'd love to cut my dependence on it.

7 weeks with no caffeine here...but then I wasn't really a coffee person. Most of my caffeine came from soda, which I was already giving up to lose weight.
I do like tea on occasion, but decaf is fine as I can't tell the difference between caffeinated and decaf anyway.
Good luck jrc!!!

Maybe a gradual reduction works better. It's too late for me, but save yourself.
