Well, it's that time of year again. Teachers fighting each other tooth and nail for the few positions out there. Thankfully, I fell into a permanent position last year, so I don't have to participate. My SO, however, does.
Right now, he's a long term substitute at his dream school. A permanent job opened up and both his principal and his vp told him to apply. So, he did. His principal told him yesterday that he was one of 30 candidates to apply.
Any spare thoughts you could send our way would be fantastic. Him getting permanency would have such a positive effect on our lives - we could finally buy and house and talk about starting a family.
