I lost my angel baby on February 4, 2013. When my SIL found out (she had 4 miscarriages before having her 3 kids), she encouraged me to start running so I could participate in a 5k she helps organize. It is for the March of Dimes and she said I should run it in memory of the baby. I thought about it. I was about 14 months out from dday and the gym trigger had mostly subsided. March 15th I started couch to 5K. Since then I've continued running. I run 3 miles and lift 2 days a week and 4 miles another. I do weights and other cardio on non-running days. Today weighed in. In almost 4 months I'm down 37.5 pounds and I'm at the weight I was 10 years ago when I got married. So now I'm at pre-three kids weight. Next I need to get to pre-college weight!

Me: 35
WH: 37 TimeToManUp
Married: 14 years, together 19 years
3 daughters: 12, 8, 6, and 2 angel babies (2013 and 2014)

D-Day: 12/21/2011
Confronted him: 12/22/2011

This is the most difficult thing I've ever done.

So sorry for the loss of your little one. I admire you for your strength. Congratulations on accomplishing your running goals. That has to feel fantastic. I noticed the ages of your three daughters. Mine three are all grown but are spaced exactly like yours--now they are 30, 26 and 23. Time goes by very, very fast.

Good luck on your goal of getting to pre-college weight. That has been so many years and pounds back for me it's hard to remember!

That is AWESOME !!!!

You should be proud!!!

I need to start couch to 5k, but have been focusing on loosing some weight first, with my arthritis issues I didn't want to damage joints with all the extra weight. I have hit my goal to start, just got to get up and moving. I see my Dr next week, and he is going to get on me because I haven't started exercising regularly yet too.

(he is so damn cute, I always feel bad whe he gets on me...)

Enought about me, Great Job TCD...You are an inspiration.
