So this was a good week with work.

I was formally introduced to staff. With a new position, you never know if people will welcome you with open arms or be hostile. People have been overwhelmingly welcoming and receptive - to a point that I'm a little overwhelmed with addressing needs and scheduling appointments. I've even been able to solve a few problems. I've also made some positive steps forward in make some changes that need to happen. The head honcho (that created my position kind of begrudgingly and really doesn't understand my role) paid me a great compliment tonight (she made a nasty, public comment last week about my job), she told me that she has gotten tons of positive feedback about me and that my start has been very positive.

So... yay!!

At first I was all "oh no... things are going too well..can't be good."

Then I remember that I was coming off of 6 weeks of terribleness - breakup, mono, eye infection thing, sick dog, and boss being kind of hostile. I deserved this.

Fingers crossed that it keeps coming.
