Theres a letter circulating Facebook right now.
A woman typed a letter to a neighbour in a community not far from me.
It's horrible!!! I don't know if I can post the letter but the gist is that she's telling the woman to move because her retarded child is being disruptive. She goes as far as to say have his non retarded organs donated to science. OMG!!!
What is wrong with people???
The police are involved. I hope they find them although I don't know what this might fall under legally...

I saw a story recently where a couple sued their neighbors for installing a wheelchair ramp (daughter is in a wheelchair) on their house and "lowering the property value" of the neighborhood.
People are idiots sometimes.

This has made me so angry I am in tears.
People don't know how damn lucky they are to have a healthy ("normal") child.

Kids with hidden disabilities are God's little pop quizzes. Sadly, very sadly, an awful lot of people get failing marks.
I saw the same story today. I hope there's a chorus of support for that targeted family that drowns out the mean voices completely.

There is something funky about this letter. I've seen it as being sent to the parents of an autistic child AND to the parents of a child with a horrific form of cleft palate.
It's the same, EXACT letter. I can't find any info on it. I think it's a hoax; I HOPE it's a hoax.

I agree. I hope it's a hoax. But what's disturbing is that "someone" took the time to type that out. They thought those words and put them to paper.
It shows that some people are really sick!

I just read the news report on this. It's amazing how thoughtless and selfish people can be. Of course we all know this or we wouldn't even be on this site.

I have absolutely zero tolerance when it comes to mistreatment or bullying of any kid in any form. You want to piss me off, that will be the ticket. Sometimes even so called reasonable people don't realize what they are doing. Use your GD brains.
I've wiped the shit off. It can be wiped off you know.
