This past weekend I was in the back yard, sitting on an old railroad tie under the crab apple tree. Overhead I heard an excited chattering sound, but being in a relaxed mood, instead of cursing the damn tree rats, I offered a friendly greeting of "hello squirrel". Well the chatter continued so I just sat there under the tree relaxing. Next thing I know, I was narrowly missed by an apple core. The damn squirrel threw the apple core at me after it had finished eating, just like in the classic Donald Duck / Chip and Dale cartoon.
