So it is getting down to a little over a month until my move 
Where is the best place to get free boxes? My workplace doesn't have many and I've accumulated a lot in the 3 years that I've been in my apt. Didn't do so well decluttering either.
Any move tips you wish to share?

Liquor stores have lots of boxes. Also, a place like Toys R Us or Babys R Us--the boxes that the diapers come in can't be cut open, so the boxes are intact and very large.

You can actually get used boxes for free from some U-Haul's. People can bring the boxes they bought at U-Haul back and donate them.
If you're lucky you can even get wardrobe boxes for free.
Last time I moved I bought wardrobe boxes and then took them back, with the bars and left them in the "Free" box.
I also like going to Office Depot or Office Max and buying their "Banker" boxes. You can get 10 for a little more than $10 and they are perfect for books and knicknacks and stuff because they have lids and handles.

Thanks for the good ideas. I had no idea u haul gave away boxes. I need to get rid of stuff instead of moving it. Can't believe how much more I have to move this time

I second craigslist, we were moved this last time and we had a ton of great moving boxes, I advertised them on craigslist for people to come and get.

Our local McDonalds will let you have their boxes if you ask (so they don't crush them), they are quite sturdy and not too large, so things do not get too heavy, good for general packing.
I second checking on craigslist or u haul to get some of the "special" boxes that make moving sooo much easier.
Good luck, even if you want to move, the actual work is never any fun is it?

Free Boxes: Freecycle.org, liquor store, grocery store, department stores, work.
Cheap boxes: uHaul, Walmart, Target.
Declutter as much as possible - donate to goodwill, trash, sell in a yard sale.
