Out of the blue and totally unexpected, DD22 told me she was going with me for emotional and physical support this Saturday to the final hearing. She told me that even if I tell her no, which she was expecting me to do, she would show up anyway so there was no point in me arguing with her about it. She works at the courthouse and it is her second home so she is very comfortable there.
Never expected this, and it is so sweet on her part! It might make the event a little more tolerable knowing I have support there with me.
To my knowledge, POS still has no plans to be there since he waived his right to appear, and he can't afford the plane ticket anyway. However, my guard will be up and ready, just in case.
This is going to be a LONG week waiting...

My 21 year old son was in the gallery at a recent divorce court hearing. I asked him not to go. But he had seen the notice and said that nothing his mother or I could do would keep him away.
My ex-wife and her attorney tried to have him ejected and were denied as he was sitting there.
He watched all of it
