I'm sitting here panicking waiting for the counselor. My heart is just pounding. Why am I ready to run away?

Hang in there, the first go is usually just a get to know you thing, and probably won't really deal with any issues.

I hope that it went well for you. Those first few visits can be REALLY scary! I wonder if the counciler's are as nervious when they meet a new client?
Imagine a ship trying to set sail while towing an anchor. Cutting free is not a gift to the anchor. You must release that burden, not because the anchor is worthy, but because the ship is.
