See my "well, that was awkward" thread.

Tonight was cleaning the room out and getting a bed for it for my mom.

Tomorrow will be seeing if I have any double bed sheets, and going shopping to buy some if I don't, but also getting some more blankets, and a comforter for it. I also have to upgrade my phone, as it's a piece of crap, and dies on me regularly. I am the second contact for my mom at the hospital, so I need to be able to count on the stupid thing. So, spending a bunch I don't have. A group of my lady friends are meeting for coffee/tea around 2pm; I'm hoping I can fit it in. The kids are going to dinner with the XH, as this was suppose to be his weekend, but both kids begged off. He guilted them into at least going for dinner.

Sunday will be cleaning, trying to have some downtime, and taking DD to her book club in the evening. So I can sit and read for a bit.

That's about it! One day, I hope to fit a man in there somewhere!

I just got the new portable photo scanner I ordered last weekend in the mail today. I plan on watching my step brother's football game tomorrow morning (Beat Northwestern!) and then spending the rest of the day scanning old family photos at my Mom's. Sunday I'll probably fix my motorcycle and spend any remaining time scanning more pictures.

Last night I had a second date with someone.

Today I have a race in about 30 minutes, then a bit of partying and cleaning.

Tomorrow will be some relaxing, but I also have to go into work :(

I just successfully completed my first week of work since July 31st, so I can truly say--Happy Weekend!

Yesterday I worked during the day, so I got to go out for a couple of beers last night. The band was a blues band, so it was enjoyable.

This evening I'm helping with a Trick or Treat nature trail at a local state park.

Tomorrow I'll hit the farm stands and get my stuff together for my next week on the job.

Today, I'm riding to camp with a friend. We are also going to hit some antique shops.

Running errands this morning (darn UPS has a package I must sign for).

Then, costume shopping with the kids for Halloween. DD13 has a great idea and we need to find the perfect dress for it today at goodwill or Target.

Tonight I'm taking the kids to see Gravity in 3D! Hear it is great!

Tomorrow, finishing up grading papers for work. Grades are due on Monday morning so I have to finish up. Ugh! And ending the weekend with one last birthday celebration dinner with some dear friends!

Friday: Fall Leaf Clean-up for a client and discovered a tree had fallen across their driveway. Friday night running the sound/lights for a play at our Community Performing Arts theater.

Saturday: Cut up the tree at the client's house and then the second performance of the play.

Sunday: Church and depending on the weather some more clean-ups.

The best thing is that Monday I officially take over as the proprietor of the local

Love weekend threads. I'm so excited for all of you, there's so much going on. Please post updates!

I had a work party last night which was fun. I'm changing jobs, though, so it was also sad to know I won't be seeing those good people as much.

Hiking today on my own, cooking dinner with friends tonight.

Church, schoolwork, and therapy tomorrow!

Friday - I hung out with my boys. They played video games. We had pizza for dinner. And then watched Hocus Pocus.

Saturday - I'm going to work for a few hours. I'm excited for tonight though... game night! Going to a friend's house.

Sunday - Teaching Sunday school and then church. Idk what I'll do after that. Maybe catch up on some housework. I should prolly pull the weeds that have started taking over my flowers awhile back...

I spent last night sitting on the couch, playing solitaire. Decompressing after a stressful week/month, as my good-with-the-words SO called it.

Today I am puttering around the house, mainly in the kitchen. My plan is to clean out the fridge and freezers, using what I already have to get meals for the week planned/made ahead of time. I made french toast for breakfast. I've got a couple of chicken carcasses simmering down for stock, then I plan on making chicken tortilla soup. I have pork to cut up to make carnitas but I need to go to the grocery store for a few ingredients for that before I can throw it together. And I also have some beef for a stir-fry.

I decided to ditch the sloppy joe meat from 2009 I found in the freezer, though.

Tomorrow will be more puttering in the kitchen, along with laundry, a little bit of cleaning since SO will be here next weekend, and maybe some yardwork.

Uh yeah, that meat is a wee bit stale no doubt.

Building a simple website for school. Using code and CSS.

I have my old Dreamweaver files from 2002 and the sloppy code is shocking, but there is a ton of stuff I can glean.

Learning it for realz now.

Then on to the history readings tomorrow.

This is bliss in my world.

But if I have to memorize any more logins and passwords my head will explode...

I finally switched to one of those master password sites, after I realized how often I was using the same login/password combination. Now I only have one login I have to remember, and it does all the rest for me.

Last night was total veg out night-- catch up on TV, get in my pjs early, and enjoy some homemade apple crisp.

Today I had to proctor an exam, then I went out to lunch and shopping with my brother, now I'm trying to get motivated to do laundry before I meet a couple of SI friends for food, drinks, and laughs!

Tomorrow-- sleep in as late as I like since I woke up ridiculously early today, finish laundry, go grocery shopping, and prep for my formal observation at school with the principal on Monday.

Hope you're all having a nice weekend!

Hey k9 - Congrats!!!!

I'm taking it easy this weekend as I've been sick with stomach crud all week. Sometimes working at a college (aka germ factory) isn't so great.

Studying for an exam on Monday in Principles of Management, blech. Housework, laundry, football. Made some soup. It's supposed to be pretty nice weather tomorrow so a nice long walk is on the list too.

Yesterday evening I spent with my xSO, we had a good time playing with his new espresso maker, got some yummy Thai food, and talked to his neighbors for awhile before I drove home.

Today I saw a new client and then did paperwork and talked to my supervisor about it. Chatted with some people at school. Then went to the grocery store, finished my paperwork, and went to get my kids from their dad.

Tomorrow we are getting pumpkins and will carve them.

Friday, went to JV and Varsity football game with DD16 to watch her first serious boyfriend play. He is the quarterback and a sweet kid. After that Friday Night Social at the local pub where plenty of old timers showed up and we danced and had fun into the wee hours.

Saturday morning DD16 had friends over for an impromptu breakfast. After that just some chores and then beer and hot dogs at the Grand National Rodeo tonight.

Tomorrow, sleeping in and planning on reading in bed until noon with a nice cup of Joe. Then heading to town for groceries and some new flowers , and then some project work, movies and a nice glass of wine just me, myself and I.
