Hi there,

When I signed up here, one of the first things I saw was a page of all the baffling acronyms you all use. Since then, I haven't been able to find it at all, and as a result I'm getting hopelessly lost when reading any and all messages.

I'm sure I'm doing something really stupid, but I feel I can't join in, or even tell my "story", because I don't want to break forum etiquette.

Could someone provide me with a link please?

Many thanks,

Teadancer

There's a thread at the top in the general forum that has a list of the abbreviations that are used.

Also, you don't have to use the abbreviations, just jump in and tell your story, vent, scream, whatever you feel you need to do at the moment. We're here for you.

Welcome!!!

I just wanted to reiterate what SD said - feel free to type your story in any veribage you are comfortable with. Although that legend is priceless when you are trying to understand other's posts.

The folks are here to support, help or just listen to you vent (whatever is needed) - no matter which way you spell or abbreviate it

Before you know it....you will be shouting out acronyms with the best of them!

Welcome Teadancer

Most of the acronyms can be found in the Healing Library. From the main page in the Healing library you will find a link at the top. Here is the direct link to that source

http://www.survivinginfidelity.com/library.asp

In addition to all of those there is a thread in General that is always in the first 4 threads that has additions that are to be updated into the list in the healing library.

BTW you don't have to use the acronyms. You can just tell your story.

Ah, many thanks people! That's brilliant. Right then, time to have another read- this time, armed with a translator!
