Any mojo to spare?

Dh has just graduated. Last month actually. He was the top graduate, has impeccable references, and solid co-op experience. I have no reservations with his abilities to do the job well, or interview well. 2 professors have called since he graduated asking him to forward his resume for two different unadvertised positions. He did, we just haven't heard anything yet.

The college also asked him to come back next year to teach a specific module, and he was asked to present a study he did at 2 different organizations for meetings. We're in a good place as far as his skills and abilities.

However.. (here's the mojo part ). We need him to work. And waiting is not my strong suit. It's got to the point where the phone rings and we jump out of our chairs.

So if you have a tiny bit of mojo to spare that he starts getting calls that would be awesome. We are willing to do what it takes, and move or look at long commutes.. just waiting for a shot to prove it.

Go softly my sweet friend. You will always be a part of who I am.

Sending lots of mojo!

My daughter did a Skype interview last year. She lived in British Columbia, job was in Newfoundland. She got the job. About three weeks later she sold her furniture, shipped her car, and was on a plane across country to start.

I guess Skype interviews are not unusual in this world...saves the employer a ton of $.

Wishing you mojo. Maybe a family move will happen. I've moved to Bermuda, The Yukon, then Niagara (hometown Toronto)....and it's been an adventure.

No really unfound.. I know it's hard to believe but I am not very patient.

One of the professors texted him tonight with another lead. This afternoon a friend of a friend asked for his resume as she's in HR at another firm. So if we had any more feelers out there we'd be Octopuses..Octopi.. something with a lot of feelers anyway.
