Unbeknownst to me, me and the OW were both receiving gifts on Val's day from my now ex.

I'm greatful for meaningful and loving people in my life who are authentic and real.

The best Valentine's gift is love for myself.

So true. I consider this unexpected change in life to be my opportunity to establish the best love affair ever - self love!

Happy Valentines Day!

I'm taking my friend to lunch. Her husband tragically passed away last year in January. She needs some cheering up. I have big shoes to fill, he was a gem! Faithful for over 20 years to her!

Hmmmm, do I get her flowers today???? Seems kind of weird from a heterosexual girlfriend....

Maybe some ...wait for it

The best Valentine's gift is love for myself.

THIS is a gem of a quote! I agree wholeheartedly.

People keep asking me how I'm doing today and I say, I'm fine! The Gnat never bothered to make Valentine's different than any other day. He pretty much dismissed me and was usually out of town. That's how our anniversaries went too. I'm meeting a friend for apps and drinks tonight them coming home alone to watch movies. Sounds much better to me anyway.
