So after several months of looking at locations for our salon, and getting our hopes up and then being let down..and now finally finding a great location and having to deal with a listing agent that took FOREVER to communicate and get us a lease... I am finally meeting the agents to pick up our keys! Finally finalizing our floor plans and starting to do some light shopping for décor and supplies...

Finally moving on with my own career after being a stay at home mom for a lot of years... putting my makeup artistry on the backburner. Now I have completed hair school (I started this with a husband assuring me he would back me up and support with the kids and house, etc...who knew he was gonna do that by finding a girlfriend!) it was as though instead of supporting me, he threw the most horrific obstacles in my way. Infidelity and subsequent separation/divorce with 3 kids under the age of 12 to be there for as well. So supportive!

Now I am feeling so blessed. My kids are adjusting well. We've had our struggles with ADHD and school issues, etc...and ex and I have had our fights over his npd crap and controlling nature, but overall, I have a truly supportive SO that is embarking on this venture with me, who supports and lifts me up, who steps up to help my boys when they need it and cares greatly for them.

I just feel so excited to finally have the keys to our future salon in my hands today and really be able to begin a new journey in my life. How I will juggle it all is a mystery still, lol, but I know my kids are proud, I have a SO that DOES what he SAYS he's gonna do and backs me up and genuinely wants the best for my future. Scary! But so exciting!
