Finally got my delayed copy of the decree draft last Thursday from her lawyer. I'm currently reviewing it (my lawyer is too) looking for mistakes.

It wasn't everything I wanted (which was kick her ass out on to the street with just the clothes on her back and me with full custody of our boys), but I did get 50/50 custody specific to a schedule that I wanted (she doesn't even care to have the 5th weekends and just surrendered them without question, which really gives me more than 50%). I got the exact holiday schedule I wanted. Also got her to agree to accept 50% of total debt(some of which I actually lost documentation for proof, but her lawyer never asked for it!) and deduct it from her half of the home equity. She will only get a set amount from the sale of the home through an owelty lien. Also, Restricted the boys' residency to the current county and contiguous counties. No CS (we battled on this one), other than I pay the boys health benefits because I want to. I want the boys to know I had them in my thoughts through the whole process and that's what the language of the decree shows. My STBXW only cares about cash payout on the home equity and a handful of property, as shown in the decree. Her selfishness really shines through in it.

So far, from what I have reviewed it looks solid. I have just a few clarification on some details and will go over them with my L.

The ball then goes back to her L's court, and I hope he doesn't drag his feet again to get the decree submitted and a hearing scheduled. So far they have delayed, delayed, delayed...

Just met with my L for lunch yesterday and went through the entire draft with him. We were shaking our heads. It's a bit sloppy. About a third of it looks like a cut and paste job from what appears to be from another decree. We noted the corrections and are sending it back for revisions. There's some details in there that STBXW should have picked up on that would disadvantage her. We're not saying shit about that, but definitely pointing out and demanding correction for clearly inserted "mistakes" that didn't align with the MSA and affects my possession rights.

I can tell STBXW didn't read through it thoroughly. For example, my oldest son's Bday is on Father's day. On both boys' birthdays, I get them for 2 hours. She does as well. But, on Father's day, I get the oldest for 24 hours. So I get to celebrate two events with my oldest, his Bday and Fathers day, every year if I wanted to be an asshole and not let her celebrate his Bday too on Father's day and she couldn't do anything about it. How did she overlook that? Because it's all about HER needs and no one else's.

Don't worry. I'm not an asshole. But I'll point it out to her AFTER the decree is signed and submitted just to underline how selfish she appears in the decree.
