WH says some of the apps on his phone are tied into my Apple ID and he needs my password.

Does this seem strange to anyone else? Last time I checked you could only sync to one appleID.

I have my phone and my ipad linked to the same apple ID. I wouldn't give him my ID. Ask him what it is he wants from the ID. Unfortunately, I don't believe he can transfer them to a new one...he will have to get is own ID and buy them again. That's a consequence of his actions. I mean, most apps are free or fairly cheap. It's not like it will cost him a ton.

What I had to do was do a master reset on my iphone. There are instructions on how to do this. DO NOT give him your Apple ID and password! He can reset and redownload under his own name. It is pretty easy.

Don't give it to him.

He's simply going to have to uninstall the apps linked to your account, buy them under his own ID, then reinstall.

Likewise if you purchased any under his Apple ID.

I'm wondering if he's trying to remotely install spyware on my phone...

I had this issue with the ex, where I originally downloaded apps under his id to my phone.

He didn't give me his login credentials, but it gave me the option to put them under my id.

He can move them under his own id and doesn't need keys to the castle.

t/j

it gave me the option to put them under my id.

How do you do this?

My DS18 has his own apple ID now, but has a bunch of things he bought while a minor under my ID.

It'd be good to transfer them without having to repurchase.

Even if he has to repurchase every app on his phone, do not give him your apple ID information. He could want to install spyware so it's there when you sync. He could also want to access your icloud. He might just want to charge up a bunch of crap and blame you. There is no good reason for him to have your information if you are not reconciling.

As others have said, no. He can get the aps on his own account without a problem.

I'd also change the password NOW to something he could never come up with. Chances are when you say no he'll try everything under the sun to figure it out.

Make it something like sitoldmeno! (SI told me no!).

Nekorb are you in Canada? Do you have your own carrier account for your phone? No don't give him your apple ID whatever you do. He is feeding you a load of crap.

I work for a cell phone company and he doesn't need this.

You can't have aps from two apple id's on a phone, so if he's telling you "some of his aps" he's lying. Glad to hear you're going crickets. I'd also be tempted to change my ID to something really obscure (if its not already) so that he can't guess his way in.
