A few weekends ago, I snuck away for a long weekend on the beach with a girl friend who I haven't seen in 3 years. We swam, we drank, we relaxed, and it was beautiful.
I'm considering investing in retirement property in Malaysia; I absolutely adore it.
Glorious sunsets:
Beautiful beach:
Even a little wildlife:
A to-die-for infinity pool:
with poolside bar:
And little touches that made the whole experience just so much more perfect:

Wait... you just *happened* to be in Malaysia (yes I know you are traveling for work) and your friend you haven't seen in 3 years just *happened* to be there as well?!?!
Looks beautiful and relaxing and ahhhhhh... can I come retire with you?

Not exactly - we both work in Asia, and she had a break between projects, and asked me to find somewhere with a major airport where we could meet up.

Southeast Asia is high on my bucket list. It's only beat out by Australia (Oceania, actually) and Africa. Two small continents to cross off

Ahhhh, those drinks look so inviting. Reminds me of beautiful sunsets and refreshing breezes in Hawaii. Why oh why did I ever leave that beautiful island. Sigh.
