I was blessed with an OW who, I suspect like most, believes she is the most wonderful, special gal in the world and that’s why she was able land her man (aka, go after a married guy with two small kids).
They lived together for 8 years before he finally decided to marry her, which apparently did not arise from a romantic proposal but an ultimatum. My DD, who is older now and sees what a moron OW is, told me that she has a face mask that says “Trophy Wife”. I damn near peed myself.
Um... a trophy wife is someone who marries a man of wealth and power. My ex has neither. In fact, I have twice as much wealth and power and I don’t think anyone would classify me as wealthy or powerful. The term also implies that you live in the lap of luxury and do nothing but sit in the corner and look pretty. Their house looks like a garbage dump and he rarely is able to pay child support on time. She’s not swimming around in Louis bags and jimmy choo shoes, that’s for sure. She’s not ugly, but is also not someone most people would turn their heads to ogle either. The only accurate part of her depiction of herself is that she sits around and does nothing.
After all these years, you would think she would have discovered an ounce of humility and self-awareness. I guess it’s true that leopards don’t change spots.

I think she needs a face mask to remind her that she’s won the “booby prize”. Him!
Survived two affairs and brink of Divorce. Happily reconciled. 12 years out from Dday. Reconciliation takes two committed people to be successful.

Lol this is the funniest thing I've seen on the internet today She definitely wins the "Booby Prize" and her participation trophy.

The OW has a proven track record of taking things that aren't hers. I suspect the face mask once belonged to someone else, too.

^^^^^^^ And hopefully it was recently worn by the previous owner. Since the OW "sits around and does nothing", she wouldn't have washed it, so who knows what she might catch!
Finding what life could have been....... Why didn't I see it?
