One of the benefits of being with my friend while they are going through their service related medical stuff at a VA in the Midwest is that we have cheese makers. Lots of cheese makers.

And a big rivalry tonight. So what do we do? We go to the cheese making capital of the US and buy cheese from the (overstock) bins. $3.99 a pound so we buy a lot of cheese.

That and some boneless chicken thighs with bbq sauce and crackers and salsa and hummus and leftover Santa chocolate and veggie tray veggies I know no one is going to each. So much good food I am not sure I even care who wins. :) And my friend doesn’t care because they root for an entirely different team no matter that I have tried to explain to them that once you hit the WI state line you ARE a Packer’s fan by adoption if not birth 🤣

We are sort of impromptu with all this so I am hoping those pricy sports channels I subscribed to for them will actually be broadcasting the game. Wish me 🍀

How’s everyone else’s game day going?

When we lived in northern IL we were surprised by how many Packer fans there were. I've tailgated and been to several games at Lambeau. Gotta say, I've now lived in four major regions of the U.S., and no one can beat WI cheese curds!

(H will be watching the game tonight - I lost interest in the NFL a year or so ago, but used to be into it big time; I think it's on Prime here.)
