Lord, I’m 12 years past divorce finalization. Kids are now 26 and 29. XH and Ow now wifetress recently asked son (26) to help with building a deck around their camper at a campsite. He said ok. Bought materials, showed up~ it’s at a nudist colony. 😕 Didn’t tell son ahead of time. * That’s my biggest complaint*. Son built the deck, but sadly I didn’t know to warn him ahead of time to stay away from Dad, as I thought maybe Dad was more normal now.

Sometimes He calms the storm. Sometimes He lets the storm rage, but calms His child. Dday 12/19/11I went to an attorney and had him served. Shocked the hell out of him, with D papers, I'm proud to say!D final10/30/2012Me-55

Does he really need help? Sounds like he has a pretty funny story to tell his buds…

If he’s actually troubled, I’m not sure there’s much role for you. Your son is 26 years old, he’s going to decide for himself what to do with his relationships. My father left my mom for another woman that he’s still with. I almost never talk to her about him, and if I did I doubt I’d be super open about it, especially to criticize him. I feel like that’s not what I should do.

If he’s really really bothered, you should encourage him to see a therapist.
