A friend of mine is a perfumer and a True Blood fan. She's made a gorgeous perfume called Vampire Groupie in honor of the show. (she can't call it "Fangbanger" because that word is trademarked)
It has notes of magnolia and spices. So lovely!
12/18/15 found out my now EX boyfriend was trolling CL for underage girls. From the cops. The fun never stops.

Just have to bump this in anticipation of the next book and start of True Blood...
Ok, so I'm early, but...
ETA: Charlaine Harris' website has an excerpt from the next book, "Dead in the Family". Haven't read it yet, but after I read the last book again, will read it.

When does it come out? Should I get excited now or wait?

Anyone checked "Dead in the Family" out yet?
I've seen some disappointing reviews.

I'm reading it now, and I'm about 80% done. I accidentally stayed up till 3 on Wed. night reading it, oops.
No spoilers for you all yet, though!

It will come out on Kindle when the publishers think they've exhausted all the hardback buyers.
First comes the hardback, then the Kindle version at a slightly lower price, then either the paperback or reduced price Kindle.
I think they actually believe Kindle buyers will buy the hardback if they withhold the Kindle version. Silly fools.

That is exactly what I did.
Just finished it and have to say I wasn't really impressed. It jumped around too much with a sub plot that went nowhere. Of course I guess that could play out in the next book if there is one.

kndy, please don't encourage Penguin. If anyone asks, don't tell them you caved. It'll be our secret.
The whole book was about healing, IMO.

I enjoyed "Dead in the Family".
I think the sub-plot that went nowhere was meant to be a manifestation of Sookie's paranoia and trauma caused by the torture and abuse she endured.
No mention of what became of Arlene though.

Yep.
I've been reading the Outlander series. Love the whole idea of the time travel stories, but damn she just can't shut it and write tight, you know?
Charlaine Harris writes fluff, but it is sooo easy to read and digest. I'm enjoying.

I'm only about 2 chapters in but it seems tedious so far. I hope it gets better.
