One company I worked for had this happen and one of the owners ended up taking care of it. When we moved location and actually had a kitchen with more than one table the mess was more than the garbage can issue. One guy in the mail room started taking mugs, Tupperware, and utensils and putting them in the dishwasher and running it every afternoon. He wiped the counters, made the last urn of coffee got the day and took out the trash. Owner loved that he took the initiative to keep things clean he was given a $100 wk raise. That's how much it would have cost the company to have someone come in and clean the kitchen everyday for a week. Of course this was when companies paid for coffee for their employees.

Good luck mom, I think I'd invest in some nose plugs. I was in the area right outside our kitchen, not a fun place to be when the garbage collector went on strike!

I am grabbing popcorn and watching with interest.
