Have you been contacted by the police or by Child Protective Services?
These agencies should be interviewing the involved students. Not the school administration.
I think I might be tempted to call CPS myself just to be satisfied that the proper authorities have been notified and are involved in this case.

Thinking about you guys this morning.
The more I think about this, the more I am concerned about this. I mean, if he was opening grabbing some girl's butts....then that is a bold statement. I am concerned there might be more going on with some of these girls. I sure hope this is not the tip of the iceberg, but someone usually does not get this bold unless he is making a statement of "look what I can get away with....".
I sure hope the officials dig deep when they investigate this guy.

Even Keel, that is exactly what I wondered.

I also agree with EvenKeel.
It's
similar to what we have learned from the Waywards, the original story is usually just the tip of the iceberg.
Have you spoken to the Police and CPS?

I'm so sorry your family has fallen victim to this.
Of course, I would suggest watching your daughter to see if she is experiencing any emotional challenges from this. That would be my first concern. Kids are surprisingly resilient...and right now, they are probably mostly riding the drama train from all the buzz that I have no doubt this has generated. Any fall-out may come later...especially if this teacher is young, well-liked. Sad for the other girls, but it also may benefit your daughter that there are other victims. It gives validity to her story in others' eyes and the attention wasn't focus entirely on her (which I think should eliminate *some* of the creep factor).
As for at the police, attorney, etc....I think I would wait to see how the school handles this - at least, initially. They are carrying a HUGE liability here so I would expect them to act in a very definitive manner. I would give them the opportunity to do this. They have the ability to do this with much little involvement from your daughter than agencies such at the PD or CPS. It will likely be public (as far as the teacher is concerned) but it should be quick and concise once an action plan is determined.
Now if the teacher is not terminated, then I would advise you differently. At that point, the first place that I would go is to the director of schools. In fact, that may not be a bad idea to even do now.

OK guys...
This is the newest news. The school fired the teacher. The police is investigating. My daughter is acting like "no big deal" which actually pisses me off! She thinks she is grown and can
handle her own "issues"
WTF?
I am pissed at so many levels at my daughter for not telling me and at the school for interviewing her and 14 other students without the parents even knowing!
Ugh!
I am overwhelmed but thank you for the good thoughts and hugs and mojo!
Hugs to all,

(((EW))) Before you get mad at her just know that it's completely normal that she's trying to normalize it. It's a common coping mechanism. Nothing happened to her, she's not a victim, she's in control, everything is normal. That's her protective message to herself. It might make you angry because you feel like she's dismissing it, but really I think this is about self reassurance.

Dont be mad at her, but I would be furious with the school. Talk to the other kids parents. This is bullshit, and they are doing damage control. This needs to be taken up a notch. It is not ok to interview minors about an event without proper representation of adults. EVER!!!!!
I know schools act like it's standard practice, but that doesn't mean it's ok. I would be raising seven kinds of holy hell if they had asked my kid questions, without me being there. Call the local news. Seriously This guy lost his job, but no criminal charges are pending from what it sounds like. So what he can go do it again at a different school in a different county, state, whatever?
