They are all so cute! I love mastiffs.

This is Forrest Gump (black) and LP (white)

Kaeger in his Halloween costume. He doesn't look very happy

Happier Kaegs with no costume. Best...dog... EVER. I LOVE Boxers!

Beautiful - and rotten as hell - LP

Forrest Gump - used to be crazy, but much more settled now in his older years. Best cat ever

Sad in AZ, I just love that pic of Tigger

No one changes unless they want to. Not if you beg them. Not if you shame them. Not if you use reason, emotion, or tough love. There is only one thing that makes someone change: their own realization that they need to.

unbreak_my_heart,

isn't it amazing what they can do? Right before the 4th of July a year ago, Oliver got spooked by fireworks and took off, leash and all, when we were out walking. I was DEMOLISHED and of course came to SI to pour my heart out. So many members offered good thoughts and a day and a half later he came BACK! I swear it was the SI mojo that brought him home. I will never, ever forget that. It was a miracle!

amitheow--the look your baby is giving you in the bottom picture is the same one I get from Oliver, the "you said you would be back TWO hours ago" look

She doesn't like clothes or a new collar. When I make her wear that one during Cowboy games she gets REALLY upset. For some reason she is also sort of crappy when I put on her blinking light/Christmas scarf ...

Go figure ...

Thanks, Unagie!

The groomer shaved her in June of 2012. I was mad as hell!

She didn't look too good that day. It took 6 months for her to look normal again.

Here she is today. Her winter coat is so soft.

Here's our three, from left to right...

Oscar, 9 y/o boy we rescued last year (july 2012). He is currently VERY ill and we are uncertain of his prognosis.

You can see his shaved front legs from the IVs at the hospital last week.

Next is Jason, also a rescue. We adopted him in February after fostering him for several months and 2 failed adoptions where they returned him after just 6 days...both times!

Last is Penny. She's my baby and has been since she was weaned at about 8 weeks old. She's a spoiled rotten mommas girl.
