I've heard mixed things about laser and have been put off by the cost. One thing I've consistently heard is that it's more effective for coarse and thicker hair.

Since I mostly have peach fuzz, a good friend suggested threading. I love it. They do brows and the entire face for an extra charge. It's much more gentle than waxing and lasts just as long.

I also watched some Youtube videos and learned how to do my own threading for in between sessions.

Always carry a pair of tweezers in the bag, too!

If it's only a couple hairs I'd vote electrolysis.

I've done both laser and electrolysis...geez I sound like I'm a wookie.

In any case, electrolysis worked way better for my bikini line and the stray coarse blonde hairs on my chin as well as fine darker hairs on my upper lip.

I did like how laser did a nice job on my armpits. I only did 3 of the rec'd 6 treatments. The hair is still there but it's waaaay finer, so I no longer have a permanent 5 o'clock shadow in my pit. It made not dent at all in what remains of my bikini line (which isn't much thanks to the elctrolysis)Plus laser is fast and covers more area.

I think the cost for electrolysis would be cheaper too. But it doesn't work as well for folks who've waxed or tweezed a lot.

Pain wise I think laser hurt more, but I think it's because more follicles are being attacked at once.

My best advice for those that can't go the laser route is to carry a pair of tweezers in your car. The light is ALWAYS right to catch those stray hairs that get away in your makeup mirror!

I thought I was the only one who knew this trick!!!

It only takes ONCE getting traumatized catching sight of yourself in the rear view mirror to learn that trick!
