Very nice job offer came on Friday. Now the hard part background check... two weeks of hell while I wait. Thanks for the support. Please keep that mojo coming

Do they know why you lost your last job, or will that come up on the background check?

@CG --- yeah sorry about that. It could get done faster but who knows!

It is officially underway! Its going to drive me positively nuts.

I really need this since my former employer is being difficult about my final pay

Well so far things look good. They scheduled my orientation and IT contacted me about where to ship my computer. I can only surmise if there was a problem with my background check they wouldn't have done these things.

I work remotely so getting the computer shipped is a big deal.

The company performing the background check still has it showing on their web portal as 'in progress' which has me a bit nervous. But it does look like that always awesome SI MOJO is working!

This is all very good b/c the company that fired me is jerking me around about my final expenses which total up to about month's worth of my household bills. That has definitely added to my tension level!

tushnurse...I love my job and working remotely but it also require a LOT of travel. Good/Bad. Slowly working myself towards an experience level when I can get the next step up in my field so there won't be as much travel and still working from home.
